 The walkway is wｈeelchair and buggy accessible. This area is a scenic introduction to a variety of Hakone's ecosystem and is an excellent place for birding. Over 110 species of birds have been recorded around here. The planted trees and flowers, of course native species of Hakone, have been getting close to the natural world over a period of 70 years. All around Hakone visitor center called "Kojiri area" used to be a marsh linked to Lake Ashi. We created 20 hectares green area with the diversity and health.
